I've started a new series of articles on dominant women in the Wine Industry. One of the most powerful and prolific examples of women wine leaders is Jean Arnold Sessions, Board Director and former President, of historic Hanzell Vineyards, Sonoma, California.
Jean is a 'Thriver" in a male-dominated industry, both personally and professionally. She has dealt with the recent death of her husband, winemaker Bob Session, a Stage 3 breast cancer bout, running a wine consulting firm, and several winery-related business challenges. My article also links to her interview this year in the Wall Street Journal and her TEDx presentation to the Napa Valley Vintners -a presentation that is a love letter to her departed husband, Bob.
